Considering the natural gift of the Caspian Sea along Mazandaran Province, and the Iranian people's interest in travelling to the northern coasts of the country, as well as using leisure boats and yachts for cruises and the inevitable occurrence of incidents, the Port of Amirabad has followed its organizational and humanitarian obligation by publishing items on marine tourism, swimming, and water sports such as water skiing and jet skis, in order to inform the public and pave the way for fostering a marine tourism culture. This includes publishing and distributing brochures on beaches and areas covered by SAR bases, installing banners and billboards in English and Farsi about marine tourism safety considerations, and displaying slides on media and jumbotrons across the city.
