Khazar Shipping Lines hit a new record in carrying cargo despite imposing sanctions against it by the European Union states and United State of America.
Reza Ghaderi, Managing Director of the Company said that some 1.5
million tons of cargo has been carried by the company in a ten-month
period (commencing from March to December 2011). This figure, he said,
is unprecedented in the 20-year record of this company. He added that
this figure show a rise of 20% compared to the same period last year.
Shipping Lines carried about 455 thousand tons of export cargo
experiencing some 34% increase compared to the same period last year.
The volume of import cargo carried by the companies amounted to 1.1
million tons which demonstrates an increase of 22% compared to the same
period last year.
Khazar Shipping Lines is

(IRISL) was established in 1992 with an objective of carry cargo between
Iran and other littoral stated of the Caspian Sea.
